Synopsis

Shen Zhao Er (aka Tian Qi) masquerades as a male physician to enter the Ji mansion, home of General Ji Heng, to act as the personal physician to General Ji Heng's fiancée.  Tian Qi does so in the hopes of investigating who murdered her parents - she has reason to suspect that the perpetrator is related to the Ji mansion.  

Tian Qi's plans are disrupted when General Ji's fiancée is poisoned. But General Ji Heng decides that he has to keep "him" in the household to lure the poisoner into the open and Tian Qi becomes General Ji Heng's personal physician instead.  The icy General finds himself warming to his adorable "male" physician (and getting hopelessly confused in the process) and Ji Zheng, General Ji Heng's younger half-brother also falls for Tian Qi.  

Meanwhile, danger lurks for Tian Qi and General Ji Heng as murderers past and present rear their heads and it's a race against time to uncover the hidden dangers...

First thoughts

🐼: This is a light hearted romcom - Sun Qian plays the titular Dr Cutie and she really is a cutie! Don't let the revenge plot put you off if you're looking for a fluffy drama to binge watch, though be warned that Huang Jun Jie's acting may not impress.
