Synopsis:

Ning Yi, a modern day financial businessman, is double crossed by a commercial rival and left for dead...  His story is "rewritten" and he is transported back in time to the Wu dynasty and into the body of a man who is about to be married into the prosperous Su family as a matrilocal husband of lowly status.  

Using modern day business methodology and his own special brand of acumen, Ning Yi helps his wife Su Tan Er prosper in her business, cornering the cloth market for her and his friends, and successfully battling corrupt local businesses.  Love blossoms between Ning Yi and Tan Er, as their marriage of convenience becomes a marriage of equals.  

But their honeymoon is cut short as civil unrest looms and Ning Yi becomes embroiled in the affairs of the country.

First thoughts:

🐼:  This is like a mini Joy of Life reunion!  If you've watched Joy of Life you will no doubt enjoy seeing some of those characters in My Heroic Husband, which stars Guo Qi Lin as Ning Yi who played Fan Si Zhe (Fan Xian's rather adorable little brother in Joy of Life) and Song Yi as Su Tan Er (who played Fan Ruo Ruo).  Not to mention Gao Shu Guang and Tian Yu!  A brilliant cast, with huge comedic potential 😊
