Synopsis:

When the immortal Dragon King Yuchi Lonyan is saved by a young mortal maidservant Liu Ying, he falls deeply in love and promises to marry her.  However, when a wolf demon endangers the life of Liu Ying's mistress, Yuchi Lonyan saves her at Liu Ying's request and at the cost of their happiness in the first lifetime and the next three lifetimes...    

Yuchi Lonyan silently watches over Liu Ying through her next reincarnations (as Yuan A'yu and General Feng Chengyue) along with bird elf Qing Qing and the Lord of Luofeng Pavilion, Xue Qian Xun.  

It is not until Liu Ying's fourth lifetime, when she is reincarnated as Gu Qing Yan, that the hope of reunion finally beckons for the Dragon King and his one true love.

First thoughts:

🐼: The visuals of Dylan Wang and Zhu Xu Dan are mighty fine, and newcomer Deng Wei lights up the screen as Xue Qian Xun, the enigmatic Lord of Luofeng Pavilion.  Worth a watch if you want a short Xianxia drama.
