Synopsis:

When plucky adventuress Chen You You runs afoul of the powerful Qi Zeng, he forces her to play spy on Bai Li (aka Lord Qian Sui) in exchange for her father's life.  

Bai Li is the City Lord's powerful second-in-command, a eunuch, and the most handsome man in Fuxian City, a place where good looks are prized above all. But Bai Li is not actally a eunuch - he is hiding his true identity in order to investigate a cold case.  

When the City Lord decrees a marriage between Bai Li and Chen You You, the aloof Bai Li gradually warms up as his bubbly young bride teaches him how to appreciate the beauty in life.  The two fall in love.  But with a rival for Chen You You's affection in Qi Sheng Wen and with the secrets Bai Li and Chen You You are hiding from each other, the path of true love is not entirely smooth...

First thoughts

🐼: This is short and sweet at only 15 episodes that are roughly 30 minutes each.  While it won't rock your world, it's quite an enjoyable bit of fluffiness.
