Yong An Dream (2024) - Synopsis
When the West Canal of Yong An City collapses causing death and destruction, Shen Wen Qi, the Minister of Works is thrown into prison. His two daughters, Shen Ran and Shen Zhen, find themselves in desperate straits as they try to vindicate their father.
When imperial prosecutor Lu Shi Yan meets Shen Zhen while investigating the West Canal case, he recognises her as the mysterious woman who keeps appearing in his fragmented dreams of what appears to be a past life. For some strange reason, Lu Shi Yan also finds that whenever Shen Zhen cries, his heart physically hurts. As Lu Shi Yan and Shen Zhen join forces to get to the bottom of the West Canal conspiracy, they face many challenges together, and animosity turns to love. Likewise, Shen Ran and imperial censor Zhou Su An also develop forbidden feelings for each other in the course of their investigations.
But as the net closes in on the true mastermind behind the West Canal case and other conspiracies are revealed, the four find themselves in deadly danger...

ps) Also, I know Ouyang Nana is technically top billed in this, but I refuse to reflect that in my main character/cast list. Xu Zheng Xi clearly should have been, and he will top my list.
