Synopsis:

What happens when you have taken one wrong step after another? Hua Qian, who has used the most unscrupulous of means to arrive at her ends, finds out that the consequences are deadly. As she lies dying, she is offered a second chance at life...

To her shock, Hu Qian wakes to find herself back some two years in time, on the night of her wedding, and prior to her family's downfall.  Thereafter, she tries to rectify the wrongs of the past with the aim of rewriting the future.  

But the road to redemption is fraught with hidden peril, and it takes all of Hua Qian's considerable wits to stay one step ahead.  Especially when matters are complicated by three men - Zhong Ye Lan, the husband she married under false pretenses in her 'previous' life; Zhong Xi Wu, the powerful head of the family who offers her his heart; and Hua Rong Zhou, the faithful young bodyguard with a mysterious past.

First thoughts:

🐼: Scent of Time (2023) is quite addictive - the lure of a second chance and an intelligent heroine as protagonist.  I am really enjoying Zhou Ye's portrayal of Hu Qian. She is quite the femme formidable!
